The sports world has turn against Russia due to their invasion in Ukraine, they are being sanctioned on so many grounds including sports too.
International Olympic Committee asks all sports to ban Russian and Belarussian athletes and teams from international competitions.
FIFA and UEFA has now suspended Russian clubs and national teams from all competitions.
“Football is fully united here and in full solidarity with all the people affected in Ukraine”, statement says.
UEFA has also removed Russia’s teams from this year’s European competitions meaning they will not compete at this summer’s European Women’s Football Championships, while Spartak Moscow have been kicked out of the Europa League with their round-of-16 opponents RB Leipzig advancing into the quarterfinals.
Spartak Moscow have responded to being excluded from the UEFA Europa League.

And also the IIHF Council has suspended all Russian and Belarusian national and club teams from IIHF competitions until further notice and withdrew the hosting rights of the 2023 WorldJuniors from Russia.
