The Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL), Mr. Yaw Kwakwa has been issued a sack letter this morning. The letter was written by the Transport Minister, Hon.Kwaku Ofori Assiamah  per the directive of the President that his appointment be terminated.

This per speculations on social media is as a result of the back and forth between MCDan Group of Companies and the GACL last week over the suspension of Terminal one of the Kotoka International Airport for use by his Private Jet Company.

According to the GACL, MCDan was cautioned to halt the inauguration of the company’s Services but didn’t adhere as he still launched the Private Jet Company which was boycotted by the staff of the GACL .On Jan 31, MCDan Group was cautioned to desist from the use of Terminal One to run the services of his Private Jet.

In Conclusion, Mr. Yaw Kwakwa’s appointment as Managing Director of the GACL has been terminated. According to him, He is not even aware of the termination of appointment but will cross the bridge when he gets there.
