Fire destroys Nyinahin Catholic SHS dormitory

Nyinahin (Ash), May 28, GNA – Fire on Thursday moved throughout the young men dorm of the Nyinahin Senior High School (SHS), leaving following right after its monstrous obliteration of property having a place with understudies.

A sum of 47 understudies totally lost everything including their trunks, books, clothing, shoes, sleeping cushions and beds.

There were no wounds as the understudies were in classes when the occurrence occurred.

A consolidated group of firemen from Bibiani and Nyinahin reacted to the crisis yet couldn’t rescue anything because of the significant distance they needed to travel.

Mr Akwasi Boateng Acheampong, the Headmaster, who affirmed the occurrence to Ghana News Agency at Nyinahin, said that the fire, the reason for which was at this point to be set up, began at around 0930 hours.

He said the understudies have been sent home to empower them to recuperate from injury that they had because of the occurrence.

The Atwima-Mponua District Chief Executive, Mrs Theresa Adomako Tawiah, the Nyinahin Catholic Parish Priest, Reverend Father Joseph Biney, and the District Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organization, Mr Osei Assibey, had investigated the harm.
