The Management of the National Service project (NSS) has blamed delays in postings of prospective service prospective on the current strike by the University Teachers Organization (UTAG).
According to the Deputy Executive Director at the National Service Secretariat, Gifty Oware Aboagye, the protracted UTAG strike composed it impossible for next batch of graduates to total their academic calendar so as to achieve allow them start their service.
“This year, the only thing that impacted us, I don’t even blame it on COVID, it’s really on the UTAG strike. So it just dragged us back. The UTAG strike impacted postings and so several of the learners are still typing exams and are not yet done with school,” she told Francis Abban on Morning Starr Monday.
She additionally dismissed claims of protocol postings at the NSS.
