The Kaneshie district court has remanded the 28-year-old architect by the name of Richard Appiah who allegedly murdered three children and kept some of their body parts in a fridge at Abesim in the Bono region.
He came before the court today on a transitional charge of two counts of execution. This appeal was not taken as the court is for committal reasons and not the trial court.
Chief Inspector Florence Anane, The Prosecutor, told the court to remand the suspect to help investigations into the case. The Magistrate, Ms. Adoma Kwakye granted the request of the prosecutor and remanded the suspect.
Appiah who appeared in court without a lawyer is expected to go back to court on September 15.
